These are bikes Joe and I have owned......
I enjoy working on motorcycles too. Joe and I have bought and sold quite a few bikes.

1972 Kawasaki H2 750
This was my first motorcycle. I brought it home in three boxes. It was completely disassembled, so I had to put it together and repaint it. It was amazingly light and fast, but honestly not a very good motorcycle.....it was smokey, noisy, jumpy, and got lousy gas mileage, but it would sure wheelie!

1974 Suzuki TS 250
This was my second bike. It was my main transportation when I was in college. I rode this bike on snowy roads until well after Christmas! I wouldn't think of doing that now.
1982 Honda CB900F Super Sport
This is the best bike I've owned. It was quick, smooth, dependable, and was good on gas. I would like to get another one like it.
1979 Yamaha 650 Special
Joe and I bought this bike together. We rode it a couple of years, then Joe sold it to finance a new Browning shotgun.
1972 Yamaha LT2 100
This is Joe on his Yamaha. It was his first bike, and he put an aweful lot of miles on it.
1985 Honda CR 500
I bought this bike with a bad rod and a hole in the cases. I disassembled the engine, had a new rod installed on the crank, had the cases welded, bored the cylinder and installed a new Wiseco piston. It had gobs of torque. I sold it to a gentleman in Nebraska.
1972 Honda XL 250
I still have this bike. It needs a tuneup right now, but generally it runs super! I bought this bike so I could ride along with Joe on his LT2.
1988 Honda CR 125
This is Joe's CR. It is a very nice bike, even though it looks pretty dirty in this picture.
1979 Suzuki RM 125
Joe and I bought this bike with no piston or cylinder. We found out the cylinder had been sent away to be ported, so we had to contact the gentleman and negotiate its return. We put a new Wiseco piston and Boysen reeds in it. We still have this bike.
1983 Suzuki GS750E
This is the current project and newest addition to the stable. It is a nice bike with 25,000 miles. It runs great, but has regulator problems. I'm finding out that Suzukis of this era have lots of charging problems.
Another shot of the Suzuki
As you can see, the seat is getting pretty rough and is going to need to be replaced or recovered. The tires are going to need replacement pretty soon too. If you have anything laying around for this bike, let me know!
Another shot of the Suzuki
I think it is a very handsome bike. A nice mix of the traditional sport bike styling and a hint of the new "crotch rocket" stying. Some of the bike manufacturers seem to be returning to this look.
